Subspecialty Day

Date: March 31, 2015
The Subspecialty Day program comprises cataract, glaucoma, refractive surgery and retina. There are 4 consecutive sessions in each subspecialty. The registration is inclusive of the Subspecialty Day program. No additional passes are required.

APJO Annual Review Day

Three consecutive sessions featuring leading experts in the field are organized:

Each speaker will each make a 20-minute presentation based on the annual review articles submitted to the Asia-Pacific Journal of Ophthalmology. They will also sum up the most pertinent and important findings in the field in a most succinct way.

ICO Conference for Educators

The Guangzhou Conference for Ophthalmic Educators offers a full day of expert instruction, interactive workshops, and group discussion for anyone involved in ophthalmic education. It is an opportunity to learn about the latest teaching tools, practice techniques of modern education, and connect with other educators in the region.

The Conference is designed to help educators from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience improve their teaching effectiveness–including educators of ophthalmology residents, fellows, medical students, continuing medical education or professional development, and allied personnel. The Guangzhou Conference for Ophthalmic Educators is co-sponsored and organized by the International Council of Ophthalmology, the Asia-Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and the Chinese Ophthalmological Society (COS). It is the 4th Conference for Ophthalmic Educators held just prior to APAO Congress 2015, which will be held on April 1-4.

Past Conferences for Ophthalmic Educators have been held in Argentina, South Korea, India, Brazil, Denmark, and Australia.
